He served in the military for 22 years in many different locations around the world, finally retiring in 2006 as a Technical Warrant Officer where he started working for Vitalise as their IT Manager. What others say:
David understood our business and aims from the beginning. He delivers effective and pragmatic IT solutions with creativity and flair. – Sarah Hunter, Founder/Owner at Hunters Puddings Kendal
David made an excellent IT Manager during my 3 years at Vitalise and succeeded in developing IT strategy as well as ensuring the maintenance of a robust national network. David was a pleasure to work with and he engaged with people easily at all levels in the organisation. Jonathan Powell, Chief Executive Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation
It was always a pleasure to work with David. As Trustee, I chaired the ICT committee for a number of years when David was first at Vitalise. When he came on board, David had a significant challenge as the hardware and software systems were disparate and lacked past investment and effective management. He quickly and efficiently pulled together the service provision together whilst being constrained by budget. David also had the vision to initiate a Salesforce.com project and has a comprehensive knowledge of SF. He’s not worried about rolling up his sleeves and getting the detail right but is also good at stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. He always communicated well. I wouldn’t hesitate working with David again if I was given the opportunity – Adrian Melrose Online Entrepreneur.
